A cabochon usually refers to a gemstone that has been shaped and polished instead of being cut and faceted. Cabochons are usually domed on the front and flat on the back. Slightly domed cabochons of any material lend themselves well to beading around. In these instructions, you will learn how to bead around cabochons which will be made into earrings.
